This bride thought of everything to help her guests prepare for an entire day of celebration. We created a custom box for the invitation, reply card, list of festivities, map of the property, and even a "shoe card."
The bride's grandfather had recently passed away. His penny collection inspired the pennies used on the Save-the-Date and on the invitation. Above left is the back of the invitation, with the penny attached. Invitees were instructed to scratch off the copper circle with the date-to-save printed underneath (above right).
Boxes were custom printed by Uprint.com.
Folded and sealed to 7.5”x 5.5”x 1”, then addressed by hand with white ink.
The copper theme was repeated in the invitation backing paper and the reply card envelope. A penny was attached within copper-colored sealing wax on the pocket invitation folder, then wrapped with fine copper wire.
Invitation boxes were lined with custom designed tissue paper to match the flower on the outside of the invitation box.
A map of the property, with a timeline of events and a list of accommodations was arranged in a bi-fold opened to a gate-fold pamphlet. On the left is the front of the piece. That opened to the wedding day timeline – a gate fold that opened to the map (below).
A shoe card tucked inside the invitation instructed guests to bring comfortable shoes for dancing.
